Boat Rack

Documents etc. — Boat Rack Rental Information

The CSHOA Marina (a.k.a., the boat racks near the beach) was established in 2003 to provide residents convenient near-bay storage for kayaks, canoes and dinghies. Currently there are four boat racks. One rack was originally constructed to accommodate up to nine dinghies or 18 kayaks / canoes, while the other three racks can only accommodate kayaks or canoes – eight each. Thus the total capacity of the CSHOA Marina is currently 9 dinghies and 24 kayaks / canoes, or if no dinghies, then 42 kayaks and canoes.

To provide for more equitable use of the storage racks, residents will be limited to two storage spaces per household with vacancies assigned on a first come, first serve basis by the CSHOA Commodore. If you no longer use your water craft, please consider divesting yourself of it and free up storage space for other residents.

Completion of annual rental agreement and approval by the Commodore is required prior to boat rack use. Upon approval, you will be billed by Summit Management on behalf of the HOA at appropriate rate listed below for each craft. A blank rental agreement can be obtained [link below] from the CSHOA web site under the Forms link, or from the Commodore. Complete the rental agreement and return it to the Commodore.

NOTE: The boat racks are provided as a convenience to HOA members and residents, the CSHOA is not responsible for damage to or theft of kayaks, canoes, or dinghies stored on the boat racks.
