Water Park Re-Opened

The managers of the Chesapeake Beach Waterpark wanted us to convey to Chesapeake Station residents that Waterpark has re-opened for their 2020 season.

New Hours:
Monday – closed
Tuesday to Thursday- 11 am to 5:30 pm
Friday – 11 am to 6 pm
Saturday – 11 am to 7 pm
Sunday – 11 am to 6 pm

Maximum Capacity:  Currently the maximum admissions allowed in the park is 350 residents, which is 25% of the non-pandemic capacity.  For the safety of local residents the Park is currently ONLY allowing entry to Calvert County residents and their guests.  Masks for partrons above the age of two and social distancing is required.  The park strongly recommends that patrons bring their own chairs.

Guest Policy: Town Residents may bring family and friends.  However, policy states that you must attend the park with them.

To Purchase Tickets: Season Passes are still available on the Waterpark website.  Or you can purchase your daily tickets on-line before coming to the park to be guaranteed a spot. Residents may direct any questions to waterpark@chesapeake-beach.md.us

Many residents have stated how this has been a GREAT experience for them – to enjoy the waterpark at a slower pace, with less crowds, and feeling safe and comfortable.  Presently, the Park is averaging 10-15% of its normal capacity on any given day, providing ample space to social distance while relaxing by the water.
