Yard Sale!

A Chesapeake Station Community Yard Sale has been scheduled for September 16 (Saturday), 8:00-12:00.  If you would like to participate, all you need to do is get your “treasures” out on your driveway by 8:00AM.

Even if you only have a few items it will be a nice event to meet some of your neighbors. This would also help the traffic by advertising as a community. The more the merrier.

We plan to advertise on the Internet, Craigslist, Facebook, the newspapers, and with signs.

Planning is also in place for a special pick-up two days later on September 18th by Purple Heart, National Federation of the Blind, American Red Cross, and St. Vincent’s for those few items not sold.  Just put your items in boxes, sacks, etc. with the name of the charity you wish to donate to and place them at the curb on the 18th by 7:00 am.  Jean Muller will be collecting names and addresses of people wishing to donate at our Annual Owners Meeting on September 9 and during the yard sale on September 16.
