July 1st Celebration at Chesapeake Station
REMINDER to GET PARKING PASSES
Chesapeake Beach will have fireworks on July 1.
Please note this change in date from previous years.
The rain date is July 3.
- To ensure emergency vehicles can access the neighborhood on July 1st, C Street will once again be closed to all traffic without a CSHOA parking sticker or July 1st parking pass.
- Off duty police officers have been hired to control vehicle access to our neighborhood between 4 pm and 9 pm. They will be stationed at the intersections of Mears Avenue & C Street and 17th & C Streets. At 9 pm these officers will begin patrolling the neighborhood to provide crowd control and to stem the use of illegal fireworks.
- CSHOA Parking passes for the 1st of July are limited to four per household on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. Please do not ask for more. The number of parking passes available is based on amount of parking space available.
- If your group has more than four vehicles, ask them to carpool or park at the school and walk over. If you forget to provide a parking pass to your guest ahead of time, you will need to meet your guest at one of the police corners with the pass in hand. Avoid getting frustrated on the 1st because you forgot to get your passes.
- Passes are available through Keith Pardieck ([email protected]) or Charlie Pritchard, 301-325-0512.
- Please report directly to the Calvert County Sheriff’s office (via 911 or the non-emergency number – 410-535-2800) any illegal, disorderly, suspicious or dangerous activities conducted on your or HOA property.
- Notify a CSHOA board member after you have contacted the police so we can track community activity and be better able to answer neighbors’ questions.
Enjoy a wonderful weekend filled with fireworks, fun and friends!
