The forum on June 21 will consist of qualified speakers as well as a question and answer portion. Just added! Newbridge Spine, Pain, and Surgery Center – Prince Frederick will be on hand to talk about Pain Management and Alternatives to opoids. As most of you know, the CSHOA Board of Directors asks residents of Chesapeake Station to display a parking sticker on each vehicle regularly parked in the development. In the past, these stickers were in blue lettering on a yellow background and applied with a long-lasting adhesive backing.
The Board has recently changed the sticker design to a more subtle and user-friendly blue/clear removable windshield decal. These are now available to all residents. If you have a sticker in the old style you do not need to change it but if you would like the new decals, contact Elizabeth Henderson at 410-257-1736 or [email protected]
Are you a Chesapeake Beach resident eligible to vote in Town Elections? Then you should know about two forums to be held by the League of Women Voters for Mayor and Town Council candidates. The forums will take place on Thursday evening, November 3, 2016, from 7:00 PM until approximately 9:00 PM, at the Northeast Community Center, Chesapeake Beach, MD.
Mayoral and Council candidates will be available to meet individually with citizens between 6:30 and 7:00. The forums begin at 7:00. The forum of Mayoral candidates will be first, followed by the forum of Town Council candidates.

Get Out and Vote!
When: Wednesday, October 19, 7:00 – 9:00 pm
Where: Northeast Community Center (mini-gym), Chesapeake Beach, MD
What: An informal open door meet-and-greet will be held for all Town residents to provide an opportunity to get to know and learn more about the candidates in our Town election. Candidates will have individual tables to allow for informal one-on-one or small group conversations with the public on any topic of interest.
To maximize the public’s opportunity to engage candidates, there will be no formal addresses to the assembly by the candidates. All candidates will be equally available to residents throughout the duration of the event.
All candidates were invited. As of October 11th, nine of eleven candidates have confirmed attendance. All residents are highly encouraged to take part in the event to meet the candidates and learn more about your future local government leaders.

in the past few days, you received a packet of information from Summit Management Company, the firm that CSHOA uses for billing, mass mailings, etc. In the packet you received a ballot with the six names of people who have agreed to run for the 2016-17 Board of Directors.
The names on the ballot are correct but the sheet should include the following sentence : “Vote for no more than five people.” If you include a “write-in name” it will count as one of the five.
Also, remember If you would like to run for office or if you would like to nominate someone at the Annual meeting there will be a time to do so before votes are tallied.
Please spread the word to those who may not access emails.
Make sure to attend the Annual CSHOA Meeting on September 10 at 10:00.

The election will be held during the Annual CSHOA Meeting, September 10. Nominations from the floor will be accepted at the meeting. Just make sure the person you nominate has agreed to run for office.
